This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems on the Company’s rigs. Provides failure-free and technically correct safe operating performance of hydraulic equipment. Inspects, trouble shoots and performs repairs of hydraulic systems, on rig and support equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Inspects hydraulic, hose and cable operated attachments on cranes and on site equipment;
• Overhaul / recondition / performance testing of hydraulic components including fixed and variable displacement pumps and motors, open and closed loop systems, manual, solenoid-operated, proportional and servo valve, hydraulic cylinders, filtration, hoses and pipe assemblies;

• Takes part in equipment excessive wear, down time root causes investigation, in incidents investigation, in development and implementation of liquidation and prevention activities;

The Electronics Technician is responsible for all electrical and electronic instrumentation equipment pertaining to the drilling of the well, including circulating, rotating, hoisting and well control systems. It is the Driller’s responsibility to ensure that the work is performed safely, efficiently and according to procedure. The driller also takes total ownership of everything on the rig floor.

The position is responsible for all operations and departments involved with the drilling and completion of the well. Also, to ensure that all work is performed safety, efficiently and according to procedure. This position is responsible for all operations, including but not limited to, hoisting, circulating, rotating, running casing, cementing or well control. The Toolpusher takes total ownership of all operations, departments and personnel pertaining to the drilling and completion of the well.

The Rig Superintendent position is ultimately responsible for operational efficiencies and the safety of all personnel involved with the drilling and completion of the well. The position liaises with client representatives and rig site leadership to achieve operational objectives and milestones. The position is also responsible for all operations and departments involved with the equipment commissioning, maintenance, drilling and completion of the well, including but not limited to, hoisting, circulating, rotating, running casing, cementing or well control. Also, to ensure that all associated work is preformed safety, efficiently and according to procedure. The Rig Superintendent takes total ownership of all operations, departments and personnel. This includes ensuring compliance with all company, client, state or federal rules and regulations.

The Assistant Driller is a first line supervisor whose main duties are to direct and instruct the crew in the proper way to perform their duties and assigned tasks. This position is responsible for all operations pertaining to the drilling and completion of the well, including the circulating, rotating, hoisting, well control systems. It is the Assistant Driller’s responsibility to ensure that the work is performed safely, efficiently and according to procedure. The Assistant driller also takes total ownership of everything on the drilling location.

Essential Functions:

• Provide visible leadership with Total Ownership attitude. Owns safety standards.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of drilling crew as well as efficient operations during tour of duty. Assisting Driller with daily responsibilities and routinely communiticating with driller and client.

• Ensure crews achieve Company and client competency standards.

• Ensure Authorized To Operate (ATO) and Approved Competent Operator (ACO) are applied and followed.
• Ensure timely completion of accurate reports required by Company and client (including but not limited to daily drilling reports, pre-tour reports, hand-over notes, etc.).
• Update the well control board on a tourly basis.
• Maintain complete records of all tools and tubular run into the hole while drilling and/or reaming (including made up lengths, tool joints OD, ID, serial numbers).
• Track rotating hours on tubular/BHA/Tools.
• Maintain records of footage drilled, location and nature of strata penetrated, materials and tools used, services rendered and time required.
• Monitor drilling parameters and alarm systems.
• Monitor hole fill operations while tripping, logging, cutting drilling line or running casing.
• Record pickup, slack-off, rotating weights, and other drilling parameters.
• Operate drilling equipment.
• Maintain and adjust machinery in order to ensure proper and safe performance.
• Ensure floor and crown savers are function-tested and that testing results are recorded tourly.
• Ensure proper alignment of choke manifold and BOP remote console.
• Ensure performance of daily checks on FOSV, Kelly cock valve, IBOP, BPV.
• Secure well during well control events emergencies and drills.
• Install and record pressure testing of BOPE.
• Ensure rig equipment and locations are secured prior to rig moves.
• Comply with emergency response plan or Work Safe Procedures during emergencies and/or drills.
• Clean the mast and substructure with a high-pressure steam cleaning unit and/or high pressure wash gun.
• Performs scrubbing and cleaning of rig equipment and drilling packages as required with rig wash.
• Performs chipping and painting on drilling packages and equipment as required.
• Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as may be directed.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to ensure that all maintenance and repairs of equipment are performed in a safe and efficient manner. The position is responsible for all drilling equipment pertaining to the drilling of the well. The position supervises onsite maintenance personnel to ensure that proper planning and scheduling of pre-determined maintenance is completed accordingly, including the availability of required parts.

Essential Functions:

• Provide visible leadership with a Total Ownership attitude.
• Enforce, clarify, and follow Company policies, standards, and procedures while promoting operational excellence through procedural discipline.
