They are seeking remote talent to contribute to our critical campaign efforts. They are looking for individuals passionate about making a difference and have the skills to support their mission from afar. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the team in California, assisting with various aspects of their campaign, from public outreach to digital content creation. Your contributions will help them effectively communicate our message, engage the community, and drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote the District Attorney and oppose the recall.
* Create and maintain consistent messaging across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
* Amplify positive coverage and campaign messages across all communication channels.
* Coordinate with the campaign team to ensure uniform messaging.
* Forward media inquiries and interview requests to the designated spokesperson.
* Support crisis communication efforts.
* Analyze and report on communication effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed.
* Manage interactions on social media, including DMs and comments.
* Plan and execute SMS and MMS communications.
* Attend meetings and perform additional tasks as required.
* Proven experience in social media strategy and content creation.
* Strong communication and writing skills.
* Ability to manage multiple social media platforms.
* Experience in crisis communication is a plus.
* Proficient in analyzing and reporting on communication efforts.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
* Experience in political campaigns or advocacy is preferred.
Job Type: 3 months contract-based
Location: Remote
Working Hours: 60 hours/ per week. Pacific Time
Salary: $700 - $800 / per month
