We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Head of Product to lead the strategic direction and execution of our product offerings. As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, while managing and mentoring a team of product managers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative products that align with the company’s business goals and customer needs. This is a senior leadership role that requires strategic thinking, a customer-centric approach, and a deep understanding of product management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the overall product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with the company’s business objectives. Ensure a clear product vision that resonates with customers and meets market demand.
· Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Set performance goals and provide ongoing feedback to ensure team success.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, engineering, design, marketing, risk, compliance, finance, operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption. Facilitate effective communication and alignment across teams.
· Product Development: Oversee the product development process, from ideation to execution, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. Use Agile methodologies to manage the product lifecycle efficiently.
· Customer-Centric Focus: Advocate for the customer at all stages of product development. Utilize market research, user feedback, and analytics to ensure the product solves real customer problems and delivers exceptional value.
· Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and trends in the market. Use these insights to inform product strategy and drive innovation.
· Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to assess product performance, drive key decisions, and prioritize product features. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and optimize product offerings.
· Stakeholder Communication: Present product updates, roadmaps, and key metrics to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with business priorities. Serve as a key point of contact for product-related discussions at the executive level.
· Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify and explore new product opportunities and innovations to maintain competitive advantage. Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and iteration within the product team.
- · Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior product management role. Proven track record of managing multiple products from concept to launch. Experience in Fintech/Lending space preferred.
- · Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and growing high-performing product teams. Ability to inspire, mentor, and develop future leaders in product management.
- · Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, set long-term goals, and make data-driven decisions that align with business objectives.
- · Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of software development processes, digital products, and Agile methodologies. Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
- · Customer Focused: Strong customer empathy with a deep understanding of user needs and pain points. Proven ability to translate customer insights into successful product features.
- · Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and measure product success.
- · Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
