To contribute to the sustainable development of Syngenta Indonesia’s business and operation by driving initiatives aligned with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. As a Management Trainee, the objective is to learn, implement, and enhance sustainability practices, ensuring the company's commitment to responsible and ethical agricultural practices.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies for farming and agriculture operations.
- Integrate sustainability goals into daily practices, striving for continuous improvement.
- Lead efforts to embed ESG considerations into decision-making processes across the organization.
- Monitor and report on ESG performance, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret sustainability data, producing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize data insights to recommend and implement improvements in sustainability metrics.
- Build relationships with farmers, suppliers, and local communities to promote sustainable practices and address concerns collaboratively.
- Communicate the company's sustainability initiatives effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about evolving environmental regulations and ensure the company's adherence to local, national, and international standards.
- Develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices and ESG principles.
- Foster a culture of sustainability awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
- Explore and assess emerging technologies and practices that align with sustainable agriculture.
