As the QA Engineer Lead, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our Fintech platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of QA engineers, leveraging your expertise in automation testing, while focusing on daily production automated tests, regression automated tests, test repository management, defect management, API automated tests, and the establishment of testing policies and procedures.

- Lead and inspire a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement daily production automated tests to ensure the ongoing reliability and functionality of our Fintech platforms.
- Develop and maintain regression automated tests to safeguard against software regressions and ensure product stability.
- Manage the test repository, ensuring organization and accessibility of test artifacts and documentation.
- Oversee defect management processes, including identification, documentation, and resolution of issues, to maintain high-quality standards.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in creating two distinct framework test automations, showcasing your ability to drive efficiency and reliability in testing processes.
- Implement API automated tests to validate the functionality and integration of various components within our software.
- Formulate and enforce testing policies and procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency across the QA team.
- Collaborate closely with development and product management teams to understand requirements, offer insights on design, and ensure the testability of features.
- Prioritize and implement automation testing scenarios for critical functionalities related to financial instruments and transactions.
- Implement risk management strategies specific to the quality of financial software products.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in automation testing within the Fintech sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience 2-3 years leading a team in a Fintech or financial services environment with total experience of 3-5 years as a QA Engineer Senior/Lead
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing automation testing scenarios for financial software, with a focus on mutual funds and stocks.
- Solid understanding of financial market concepts and trading platforms.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Java, BDD, Cucumber, Cypress, Git/Gitlab, API Testing.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications in QA and automation testing are a plus such as ISTQB.
