- Assist the Ship Repair Manager in planning, organizing, and managing ship repair projects in the shipyard
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of ship repair works
- Review and analyze repair specifications and requirements provided by ship owners
- Participate in the negotiation process with ship owners and suppliers
- Coordinate and monitor the progress of repair works, ensuring that they are completed within the agreed time frame and budget
- Supervise and provide guidance to the ship repair team, ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in ship repair activities
- Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure the adherence to specifications and standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of ship repair activities
- Min. Diploma in Marine Engineering or related field
- Prior experience in ship repair projects or shipyard operations
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of ship repair processes and procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the maritime industry
- Those with more senior experience will be considered for manager.
