Description of Duties:

Sales Job Description

As a B2B salesperson, he/she will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales targets. Duties will include prospecting, networking, and presenting to potential customers. To be successful in this role, he/she should have previous experience in a sales role and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills.

 

Job Profile

B2B salespeople are responsible for managing the sales process from start to finish when selling products or services to other businesses. This includes identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential customers, negotiating, and closing deals, and maintaining ongoing account management.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Managing the sales funnel and lead generation
  • Generating leads
  • Qualifying prospects
  • Planning a demo with the prospective client to increase conversion.
  • Developing relationships with potential customers
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Managing relationships with existing customers
  • Conducting market research (analyzing competitors, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)
  • Achieving sales targets

B2B Sales Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience in B2B sales
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's own time.
  • Ability to build relationships and close deals.
  • Solution selling

He/she is to have experience in dealing with Projects (Construction/Renovation), Workplace and Hospitality.

 

Projects (Construction/Renovation) e.g., Malls, Office Towers, Workplace, Factories

  • Know the different stages of projects from concept, design & documentation, pre-construction, and construction.
  • Understand the roles & responsibilities, needs & pain-points of Architect, Designer, Contractor, Project Manager, Facilities Manager, Tenant, Landlord and Owner, and the compelling reasons for them to act.
  • E.g., specifying to Architects and Designers during early concept, design & documentation stage.
  • Having an existing network/contacts is preferred.

 

Hospitality

  • Familiar with hotel business and operations
  • Understand the roles & responsibilities, needs & pain-points of General Manager, Director of Rooms, F&B, Operations, Engineering and Marketing
  • Able to craft a compelling reason for them to act – Solution selling.
