Executive Pastry Chef

The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for the production of all pastries, desserts, breads and other baked products. This position gives operational support to the Executive Chef / Director of Culinary in meeting all divisional targets and objectives with a view to maximize guest satisfaction as well as protecting all assets of the property. In addition to overseeing dessert preparation, the pastry chef may handle tasks such as supervising employees, ordering supplies, creating budgets and adhering to sanitation regulations.

Employment will be under local contract. Open for Indonesian citizens only.

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain and enhance the pastry & bakery products through creative menu development and presentation. 
  • Liaise daily with the Outlet Managers to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback.
  • Makes sure our products are consistent at all the time
  • Leads the pastry team in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
  • Creates decorative food displays.
  • Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards.
  • Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Performs all duties of kitchen managers and colleagues as necessary.
  • Recognizes superior quality products, presentations and flavor.
  • Keep the consistence of all products every day.
