AYANA Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Chief Engineering to join our team at AYANA Komodo. In this role, you will assist the Chief Engineer in overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations at the resort, ensuring efficient operations and the highest level of guest satisfaction. You will work closely with the engineering team and other departments to ensure the smooth running of the property.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the Engineering Department, including maintenance and repairs.
- Oversee the execution of preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of the resort's infrastructure and equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to address any engineering-related issues or projects.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the engineering team, ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Assist in managing the department budget and resources effectively.
- Maintain and update records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and energy consumption.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements in the field of engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance operations, with previous leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in computer systems and software related to engineering operations.
