What you will be doing:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets, focusing on Japanese clientele.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Japanese market segment.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, cold calling, and client referrals.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with Japanese corporate clients, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing Japanese clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a primary point of contact for Japanese clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments such as guest services, catering, and event management to deliver personalized experiences that meet the needs of Japanese guests.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and expand the hotel's Japanese client base.
- Serve as a cultural liaison between the hotel and Japanese clients, demonstrating an understanding of Japanese business customs, etiquette, and preferences.
- Customize sales pitches, marketing materials, and promotional activities to resonate with Japanese cultural sensitivities and values.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotions aimed at attracting Japanese visitors.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback for senior management.
- Coordinate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and maximize revenue from the Japanese market segment.
