Green Camp is an innovative program within AYANA Resort Bali that aims to educate and inspire especially young participants to become environmental leaders. Through hands-on activities, workshops, and immersive experiences, Green Camp empowers youth to make a positive impact on the environment and communities around them.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as the Green Camp Junior Facilitator. In this role, you are expected to be responsible, dedicated, enthusiastic, eco-friendly, and caring to help oversee campers as well as their families. This role will work closely with AYANA Green Camp Lead Facilitators to ensure the smooth operation of Green Camp Ayana.
You must have a passion for working with children and commit to environmental education.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of camp programs, including preparation of the program materials for each camp session
- Co-lead programs and activities
- Supervise campers during all activities and ensure their safety and well-being at all times
- To contribute to, to comply with, all safeguarding policies and standard operating procedures
- Assist with the set-up and clean-up of camp facilities and equipment
- Documentation on each program, including daily photos to parents, and Instagram stories.
- Provide support and guidance to campers as needed
- Communicate effectively with campers, staff, and parents as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required
- Demonstrate commitment, reliability, punctuality, and responsible behavior
- Ability to role model positive attitude and high energy
- To work flexibly including some evenings and weekends
- Only for Indonesian Citizen
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in teaching/leading experience either indoors or outdoors, particularly with children
- High interest in and knowledge of the natural world and sustainability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit and dependable, able to work long hours with groups of students in nature
- Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Have a CPR, First Aid, or AED certification is a plus
- Diploma in Education, Communication, Science/Environmental Science, English Literature, or other relevant fields. Bachelor's degree is desirable
