- To lead and develop a high-performance sale team
- To achieve sales and profitability targets for the Indonesia Veg Seeds business
- To support, coach and participate as necessary in building customer relationships
- To contribute to the development of sales campaigns and lead its implementation
- Responsible for managing all Vegetables seeds sales activities within Indonesia
- May contribute to and direct the implementation of the sales strategy to optimize overall sales volume and market share
Accountabilities:
- Ensure sales team effectiveness: hiring, capability building, performance management, motivation
- Achieve sales, profit and market share targets
- Contribute to and support pricing plans; manage distributor rebates
- Implement customer incentive plans
- Implement sales campaigns
- Ensure effective management of 'pull' programs at farm level in accordance with channel management strategy
Overarching Accountabilities
- Ensure that all relevant Syngenta policies are well understood and implemented by the sales team and where necessary, our customers
- Promote the image of Syngenta and represent the company in a professional manner.
- Reviews and coordinates with the broader team regarding market trends, product needs and competitive environment
- Implements the sales strategy for Veg seeds
- Implements initiatives that secure and maintain our leadership position and market share.
- Responsible for developing and coaching seeds sales managers, continuously enhancing leadership skills as well as broadening business knowledge
- Builds and fosters a team culture that values, recognizes and generates a business oriented, customer focused organization.
- Manages channel and key grower relationships
- Ensures proper forecasting and accuracy of sales volume.
