Our client is a global airlines and aviation company.

We are looking for an experienced IT Head for their growing team in Indonesia.

Job Requirements

  • Research and Development: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and drive innovation within the IT department.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and monitor the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Infrastructure Planning: Plan and implement new IT infrastructure and coordinate expansion plans for new stations
  • System Consolidation: Consolidate IT systems and operations for the Indonesia Business to reduce costs and improve performance
  • Project and Performance Monitoring: Monitor major projects and overall IT performance and review the adequacy and allocation of IT resources
  • Standardization and Global Solutions: Promote standard approaches and global solutions for business needs, ensuring they cover business requirements and actively seeking opportunities to fill gaps
  • User Efficiency: Ensure users utilize IT solutions effectively and efficiently
  • Global Procedure Implementation: Implement Global IT procedures, actively monitor, and advise on improvement opportunities for better IT processes
  • Data Security: Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems, certified by ISO 27001
  • Disaster Recovery: Create and administer disaster recovery plans
  • Problem Resolution: Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner
  • Priority Coordination: Coordinate priorities between the IT department and user departments
  • Staff Management: Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Advanced English
  • Experience in a multi-national company and in working with different cultures and countries
  • International aviation background, experience in ground handling and cargo business
  • Minimum 8 years experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to details
  • Teamwork-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience and knowledge in effective people management
