As Legal and Corporate Secretarial Associate, You will be assisting the legal manager to draft, prepare and review the agreements, letter and any other legal related documents that are relevant to day-to-day transaction/business activities, provide legal assistance and/or advice for other teams, as well as ensuring that the company is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations applicable to the company.
What you'll do:
- Prepare, draft and review letter, agreements. and/or other legal related documents (including briefs, correspondence, affidavits, contracts, pleadings, and memos).
- Executes and maintains all required official corporate filings, documents, reports according to applicable law and regulation.
- Manages the coordination of Board of Directors, Board of Commissioner or Shareholder meetings and prepares the agendas and documents required for the meetings.
- Review and interpret new laws and regulations applicable and understand its impact on day to day business.
- Propose recommendations to solve legal issues and/or mitigate risk
- Support the other business units' to meet the regulatory requirements.
- Independently meet and liaise with counterparties, government authorities, external legal counsel, notary, consultant, association, or any other third party and maintain the relationship as necessary.
- Obtain and maintain Company’s licenses
- Conduct research and has extensive knowledge of Indonesian regulation
- Handle and maintain corporate secretarial matters.
- Execute legal and compliance team’s objectives and key results, including Legal Manager’s initiatives.
- Bachelors degree in law from a reputable university
- Minimum 3 years' experience as legal officer/associate or corporate secretary staff in financial services/public company
- Good knowledge of fintech lending industry, multifinance, insurance, banking & finance, and/or general corporate
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
- Fluent English writing and speaking
- Capable of working as both and individual or a team player
- Good communication, negotiation
- Good analysis and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks
- Able to multitasking
- Meticulous and well-organized
- High degree of professional and work ethic and integrity
