Responsibilities:
- Deliver impeccable hospitality to our guests and teammates
- Dialing in espresso, latte art, various methods of brewing
- Expedite and serve delicious sweet and savory foods; this can include assembly, delivery, and clearing of these treats
- Managing inventory
- Maintain work area and daily maintenance of coffee/espresso equipment
- Mentoring team members to ensure consistency and quality of coffee preparation, professionalism, patron service, hygiene & cleanliness
- Implement shift protocols and train all baristas to ensure efficient, friendly service and high quality coffee
- Cultivate positive, proactive relationships with all coworkers
- Regularly taste coffee drinks made by you and other baristas, to maintain standards and develop palate
- Offer constructive feedback to team members to ensure consistency and quality of coffee preparation, professionalism, patron service hygiene & cleanliness
- Support your team in keeping the cafe running smoothly and beautifully
- Train all new team members to Barista level using appropriate training materials
- Help design signature, and specialty coffee/drink preparations
