THE CONTEXT
Founded by twin sisters Jean and Jane Ford in the mid-1970s, Benefit enjoys a resolutely unique status in the realm of cosmetics brands. The relevance and effectiveness of its products with bold and girly names, its creative packaging and bespoke services have enabled the House to win over a community of women for whom taking care of themselves goes hand in hand with good humor. Their unique, fun and feel-good philosophy which aims to show that glamour suits all types of beauty, whatever their origins or style. In addition to cult products and bestsellers such as the multi-functional cheek and lip stain Benetint and the matte bronzing powder Hoola, new items regularly enrich the House’s repertoire of indispensable products. Always faithful to Benefit’s quirky and innovative positioning, these products enhance the daily lives of the numerous users – to be used without moderation!
Benefit Cosmetics is looking for an energetic and high-spirited college – under graduate who’s itching to be immersed in the world of marketing:
A. Social Media
- Create and manage monthly editorial plan:
- 1 post per day for IG Feed & 1 post every 2 days for TikTok.
- For IG, the content should be mixed between featuring products & people, local content & global content.
- For TikTok content, more into lifestyle / fun content, do not post any product focus content except hero asset for product launching.
- You will also be responsible to post the content & create its caption.
- Create 2-3 contents per week (image / video)
- Become the admin of IG & TikTok @benefitindonesia, replying to followers’ messages or any inquiries from partner
- Actively search current trends in TikTok & IG and recreate it.
- Actively giving out fresh ideas to increase Benefit’s social media engagement (min. 1 idea / month)
B. KOL
- PIC of brow bestie program: Find min. 4 micro – macro KOLs to have a barter partnership with us for brow waxing content.
- Handling KOLs for any paid/barter partnership content and event invitation.
- Actively know viral / new KOLs in TikTok & IG and suggest the team to engage them.
C. Event
Support the needs for event launching e.g.:
- PR Package
- KOLs
- Digital campaign idea
D. Trend & Reporting
- Fill in monthly digital report.
- Fill in monthly TikTok trends report.
- Actively search and be aware of viral brands that have a potential to collaborate with Benefit.
E. Administration
- Responsible for understanding the end-to-end process on handling KOL’s payment.
- Responsible to take care and list down all in & out products from marketing storage.
- New university graduate, final year student is welcome
- Have internship experience in retail/FMCG industry would be a plus
- Able to commit for at least 6 months for the internship with hybrid arrangement
- Good project and time management
- Full commitment with good attitude & work ethics
- High resilience, agility with creative and problem-solving mindset
- A passion for beauty industry and excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Ms Office (Excel, Power Point)
