MidPlaza Holding is seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Controller to join our finance team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and implementing sound financial controls. You will work closely with other departments to provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive business performance and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies to drive business performance and growth.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax consultants.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role from 4 or 5 star hotel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, financial regulations, and Indonesian taxation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to be placed in our business units outside Jakarta if needed.
