About the role 

We are seeking experienced sales & business development with a strong focus on partnership and insurance to join our dynamic team. As a Commercial Manager you will be working with the commercial team and play a crucial role in partnership to make Igloo become the future of insurance.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Identify and engage key potential partners in Indonesia across industries with huge customer bases, i.e. Telco, Travel, e-Commerce and Hospitality, Banking / Payments to generate business leads.
  • Develop a comprehensive offering around digital insurance products and solutions, conduct effective pitching to prospective partners, and execute acquisition plans comprehensively and promptly.
  • Design and present proposals and quotations to potential partners.
  • Act as the first point of contact for potential partners inquiries, relaying them to the relevant department(s).
  • Manage account activities under care, and optimize business relationships by providing strategic advice and strong support to drive up partners business activities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and quality onboarding of new partners and related product launches.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders, including partners and insurers to establish and ensure insurance services policies, procedures, and contracting processes are by the company's business standards.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and business development
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business, Management, Planning, Marketing
  • Experience in general insurance / insurtech / fintech companies and/or technology, services companies would be advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving and excellent communications skills to manage multiple
  • stakeholders, self-motivated and proactive, with a desire to be hands-on and creative to deliver outcomes
  • Preferably have experience or exposure to project managing API integrations and
  • understanding its limitations, but not must.
  • Fluency in English is a must (both spoken and written).
