• Cleans and tidies crockery and kitchen equipment
• Ensures the working areas are clean
• Checks the washing equipment is in good working order and informs his/her superior of any problems or anomalies
• Respects the supplier's instructions for use of washing-up products
• Helps receive deliveries and tidies food items according to the storage guidelines
• Performs cleaning and maintenance of area and equipment.
• Knows the proper usage of chemicals and detergents.
• Reports for duty and punctuality to Steward Supervisor and ready in working area with proper uniform.
• Maintains good team work with all staff and other department.
• Follows cleaning and maintenance schedule.
• Follows company’s policy and procedures.
• Maintains standard grooming and personal hygiene based on hotel regulation.
• Attends daily briefing and communication meetings as well as company’s and department’s training sessions.
