Group Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee of accounting functions of entities within Elogio Group operate in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Thailand.
• Assist in subsidiaries accounting matter (when required).
• Preparation of accurate, timely, relevant, and reliable Group financial statements and management repots to Singapore headquarters.
• Responsible for inter-company reconciliation and other balance sheet account reconciliations. 
• Manage Group chart of account, GL/AR/AP and related schedules and functions, including journal postings.
• Meet monthly reporting deadlines for local Executive Management and Head/Regional office.
• Perform and provide the analysis and interpretation of Group financial results/performance. 
• Support budgeting and forecasting in accordance with Corporate guidelines and timeframes.
• Prepare and circulate necessary periodic and ad-hoc analyses.
• Ensure adequate and maintained controls within Group finance,
• Liaise with external parties and auditors for yearly audit and to provide all required schedules or reports for audit and tax purpose. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate tax, GST, statutory and legislative requirements. 
• Able to meet reporting deadlines. 
• Implementation of Group financial policy, internal control system and accounting policy.
• Review, enhance, participate, and implement financial and control process improvement
• Treasury function Liaise with banks for banking matters
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
• Support the setup of new processes, regional entities, shared services, etc.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years experiences in Accounting.
• Hands on Experience with accounting software preferably Odoo
• Good team player and possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and English verbal/written communication skills .
• Able to multitask and willing to be hands on.
• Meticulous with keen attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated and eager to acquire knowledge.
• Able to work independently, under tight timelines and pressure.
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, Accounting or related discipline (or equivalent professional qualifications)
