As a Legal Staff at MidPlaza Holding, you will play a key role in supporting the legal department by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with compliance and regulatory matters. Your responsibilities will include preparing legal materials, maintaining legal files, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of legal principles.
Responsibilites
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to corporate actions, such as General Shareholders Meetings (GMS), Extraordinary General Shareholders Meetings (EGMS), mergers, consolidations, and acquisitions.
- Conducting legal analysis of applicable laws and regulations pertaining to corporate actions.
- Coordinating with notaries, government officials, and other relevant parties in the execution of corporate actions.
- Oversee financing agreements, including credit facilities, convertible notes, etc.
- Ensuring the company's compliance with the terms of financing agreements.
- Reviewing security documents such as mortgages, fiduciary assignments, and pledges.
- Conducting independent or team-based legal research to support various legal activities of the company.
- Preparing legal opinions on legal issues relevant to the company's business.
- Managing the company's legal document archive.
- Preparing reports and presentations related to legal activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Law from reputable university.
- Previous internship or work experience in a legal environment is preferred.
- Experience in drafting (Indonesian & English) legal documentation.
- Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
- Business proficiency level of written and spoken English & Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
