AYANA Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager on Duty for our AYANA Komodo property. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless hotel operations and delivering exceptional service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations and staff performance while ensuring staff compliance with hotel standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints, ensuring complete satisfaction and timely follow-up.
- Must be knowledgeable of groups in house, VIP's, and current banquet function information.
- Prepare and distribute operational reports while keeping management informed about property status.
- Coordinate with various departments to manage guest arrivals, departures, and special requests efficiently.
- Maintain an understanding of hotel policies and procedures and ensure adherence among staff.
- Oversee emergency preparedness activities and ensure team members are knowledgeable of safety protocols.
- Foster a positive and cooperative working environment to enhance team morale and productivity.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in hotel management software (PMS) such as OPERA.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and management best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or related fields are preferred.
