Responsibilities :
- Recommend adjustments to assembly or production processes.
- Ensure that products are checked according to standards and report to the direct superior if any product discrepancies are found.
- Inspect, test, or measure manufactured materials or products. Accept or reject finished goods.
- Inspect product samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and checking functionality.
- Check incoming and outgoing goods. Day-to-day inspection of incoming, processed, and outgoing products.
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications. Determine the cause of product defects and rework.
- Check that assembly or production lines comply with standard procedures. Comply with legal requirements.
- Review blueprints and specifications to compare to manufactured items.
- Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing rework and waste, and entering data into a quality database.
- Report inspection results (incoming, Process, and Outgoing) via WA and Checksheet on the same day.
- Monitor the safety of equipment use and discard any that do not meet requirements.
- Assists in the development of test methods and inspection plans.
- Keeps measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs
- Participate in creating IK and OPL for critical products and critical processes.
