Some of your duties will include:
· Understand the airport operations.
· Understand about the civil aviation safety regulations Section 139 regarding Aerodromes and the Standard Manual Part 139.
· Understand the guidelines on the maintenance of airside and land-side infrastructure;
· Understand the technical specifications, materials and methods of carrying out air-side and land-side infrastructure.
· Understand airport pavement construction and the completeness of markings, signs, and signs of air and land side facilities.
· Able to identify damage and plan/design repairs to airside and land-side facilities
· Monitor and oversee the maintenance and repair of airport buildings, runways, taxiways, and other infrastructure.
· Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of repair and maintenance tasks.
· Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
· Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
· Implement and monitor safety protocols to minimize risks and enhance operational safety.
· Maintain up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance certifications.
· Collaborate with airport operations teams to address facility-related issues that may impact airport operations
