- Continuously monitor live CCTV feeds covering the entire smelter and mining facility, including restricted areas, production zones, access points, and perimeters.
- Maintain a high level of vigilance to detect suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or breaches in safety and security protocols.
- Identify and report security risks such as fire hazards, equipment malfunctions, or emergency situations (e.g., accidents, intrusions, theft).
- Conduct real-time tracking of personnel, vehicles, and equipment movements within the facility.
Incident Response:
- Immediately report any security incidents or unusual activities to the security team or site management.
- Coordinate with emergency response teams in case of accidents, fires, or hazardous material incidents.
- Assist in gathering information for post-incident analysis and investigations by providing video footage and event logs.
System Maintenance and Reporting:
- Regularly check and ensure all CCTV cameras, monitors, and recording equipment are functional.
- Troubleshoot minor issues or report technical problems to the IT or maintenance department for prompt resolution.
- Keep accurate records of all surveillance activities, incidents, and system downtimes.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing activities and observations for the security team.
Access Control and Safety:
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
- Verify identification and ensure that proper protocols are followed when granting access to restricted zones.
- Identify and alert the team of any unsafe working conditions or violations of safety procedures.
Data Management:
- Ensure the secure storage and archiving of CCTV footage for future reference.
- Retrieve and provide specific video footage as requested by management or law enforcement agencies for investigations.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all surveillance data is handled in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
