What you will do, but not limited no:
Research and Product Development (R&D):
- Conducting research to develop new products based on aren (sugar palm).
- Improving the quality of existing products through innovation in materials or production processes.
- Testing and validating new formulas for large-scale production.
- Preparing technical documentation for new products, including specifications and production guidelines.
Quality Control and Assurance (QC):
- Ensuring that raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products meet established quality standards.
- Performing routine inspections during the production process to ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Testing the final product physically, chemically, and microbiologically (if necessary).
- Preparing inspection and testing reports, identifying issues, and providing recommendations for improvements.
Standard Compliance and Application:
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards such as SNI (Indonesian National Standard), BPOM (Food and Drug Supervisory Agency), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Monitoring the implementation of hygiene and food safety procedures in the production area.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinating with the production team to ensure smooth processes in product development and quality control.
- Providing training to employees on SOPs related to quality and new product innovations.
- Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in R&D and/or QC, preferably in the food industry.
- Understanding of principles and regulations related to food safety, such as HACCP, GMP, SNI, and BPOM.
- Ability to multitask in handling both R&D and QC functions simultaneously.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to quickly resolve quality issues.
- Skilled in using basic laboratory testing equipment for material and product analysis.
- Able to collaborate with the production team and provide technical guidance.
- Capable of calculating COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for new products.
