- Assisting the Chief Engineer: Support the Chief Engineer in managing the engineering department’s daily activities, staff, and maintenance schedule.

- Preventive Maintenance: Ensure the execution of regular preventive maintenance programs for the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently to minimize guest inconvenience.
- Budget and Cost Control: Assist in preparing and managing the department’s budget, ensuring that all tasks are completed within financial constraints.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all engineering work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and hotel policies. Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
- Energy Management: Monitor and optimize energy consumption across the hotel’s operations, implementing energy-saving initiatives.
- Guest Services: Ensure that guest requests related to engineering (such as room repairs or adjustments) are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that all are in good working order and available when needed.
