About The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Associate to join AMODA. In this position, you will be responsible for tasks such as preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and assisting with payroll. You will also be involved in various accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations and daily cash flow
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and address inquiries related to accounting and taxation
- Perform month-end and year-end closing process for the preparation of financial statements and management reports that guides for strategic decision-making
- Participating in audit processes and financial reviews, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Conducting in-depth research on tax laws and regulations to identify opportunities for optimization and compliance enhancement
- Staying at the forefront of industry trends and tax developments to provide informed guidance to clients and internal teams
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/Tax/Banking or a related field from a reputable university
- 3+ years of working experience in the finance/accounting/tax department for a high growth organization or a start-up company (preferably in the construction/manufacturing/hospitality industry)
- Strong understanding of local accounting principles especially the updated one such as PSAK 72 & PSAK 73, Tax Regulations, and Financial Reporting rules in Indonesia
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Accurate and Jurnal.id (preferably), Ms. Suite, and Taxation tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytic skills, and problem solving
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Having Brevet A & B certificates would be an advantage
