Description:
Royal Ocean Marine is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our client shipyard team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commissioning process of various ship systems and equipment. This includes conducting tests, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and meeting the required standards. You will work closely with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
Testing and Commissioning: Perform testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure they meet the project specifications and safety standards.
Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation and reports on the commissioning process.
Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
Compliance: Ensure all commissioning activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in commissioning ship systems in a shipyard or maritime environment
- Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work on-site and travel when required
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
