Responsible for the overall management as Lead Reliability Engineer to ensure effective and efficient service contract operation, principally through providing engineering and reliability support with the objective of improving overall equipment reliability, availability, and capability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand contractual requirements with respect to reliability, inventory management, and service delivery and implement plans to meet the requirements.
• Leading reliability engineer and service technicians for to perform all related work to reliability, technical and service.
• Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system. Including:
• Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.
• Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.
• Actively promote positive safety culture.
• Adhere to Quality procedure and policies in accordance with the Integrated ISO Management System (9001; 14001; 45001) (where applicable) quality assurance system. Including:
• Compliance to work instructions.
• Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.
• Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit
• Be responsible for reliability data management, trending, analysis and reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle stock management, rationalise stock levels, optimise stock to ensure availability and control costs
• Stock control within the JC store (this includes stock issue, control of stock levels, reconditioning and reordering of stock)
• Communication with all stakeholders involved in the Alliance contract.
• Maintain the equipment & seal database and failure history using John Crane Interface Reliability Management software for all equipment within the scope of the contract.

• The person is responsible for managing and driving all Performance Plus contract related tasks and day to day activities based at assigned customer site.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, including backlog grooming, sprint planning and code reviews.

• Involved in system design discussion with Head of Engineering
• Involved in incident management, mainly in proactive and preventive initiatives.
• Drive technical projects
• Contribute technically to projects by owning services, improve code quality, improve development process, and build operational excellence.
• Work closely with the product management team & business team in product requirements and review.

• Have experience 5 years in financial technology industry is preferable

• Fast learner & good analytical thinking.
• Advanced knowledge in (according to priorities) Go
• Have exposure to architectural patterns of high-scale web application.
• Have experience with distributed storage and database systems, including SQL or NoSQL.
• Have a systematic problem-solving approach and knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Good communication skill, team player and comfortable working with a cross-functional team.
• Have a passion for learning, improving and contributing to projects with a strong sense of ownership.
• Have experience with TDD.
• Have experience with refactoring large systems.
• Have experience with event driven architecture.
• Would be a plus if you have experienced with Kafka, Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus.
