📍 Location: South Jakarta

Background and Experience:

• A good technical knowledge of mechanical equipment design, especially packaged systems

• An engineering degree (BSME) or equivalent, 5 years work related experience 

• The ability to translate technical knowledge and skills into saleable ideas and proposals.

• A thorough commercial knowledge of assigned industries and overview of typical processes

• Field sales, service representative, market or application experience in the same products and markets

• The ability to communicate quickly, clearly, forcefully and tactfully with customers

• Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills

• Promotional and selling skills to go after and close business in both familiar and new markets

• Ability to organize and manage time and territory in a motivated, self-directed manner

Specific Job Responsibilities:

• Obtain assigned bookings on aftermarket products and services to ensure budgeted sales revenue.

• Develop existing customers, pursuing both traditional and non-traditional products.

• Identify and contact new customers to further expand sales base and revenue potential.

• Manage time and expenses to ensure coverage of key revenue sources while pursuing new target areas.

• Prepare and submit proposals.

• Negotiate commercial terms of sale.

• As principal customer interface, advise management of changing customer market requirements.

• Complete monthly market opporuntiy forecast.

• Recommend actions to counter or take advantage of a competitor's position, i.e. price, lead time, or product differentiation related needs.

• Submit annual analysis of sales territory.

• Complete special projects as assigned by sales or marketing management.

• Acquire skills and experience in various repair procedures and techniques to maintain appropriate level of expertise and facilitate continued sales.

• Act as customer advocate in matters involving communication of requirements and execution of responsibilities.

• Monitor schedule of key orders to insure on-time completion.
  Provide feedback loop to Operations and/or shop(s) on any quality related problems.

Accomplishing these tasks requires:

• Selling (persuading, convincing, and closing orders)

• Directing (shop/parts support personnel to provide necessary work scope and pricing information)

• Analyzing and evaluating (customer's need and ETSI's capabilities to meet those needs)

• Communication (EC for new unit)

Internal

• Rerate engineer (standard/engineered/ATS)

• Service parts specialist

• Technical engineer

• Customer service representative, shop manager, secretary

• Regional OSS manager and project managers

• Regional ESS sales manager

• Customer pump sales of EC

External

• Purchasing

• General manager/plant superintendent level

• Maintenance engineer/reliability engineer/operator

• Travel involves daily minimum of 2 hours or up to several days for overnight travel.

About you

You will be responsible for driving sales of elevator modernization services. This role involves assessing client needs, preparing proposals, and collaborating with technical teams. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for building client relationships and achieving sales targets. This position reports to the Section Manager MOD&BEX for Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain good working relationship with all customers and develop good working relationship with new customers.
• Site survey / visit to understand better for new design concept and technical solution proposal.
• Developing technical solutions, prepare complex technical sales quotations and drawings for the end user in coordination.
• Check final order and sales contract with initial quotation and clarify / solve any discrepancies.
• Handle customer request / questions about signed terms & conditions and check changes against the agreed bidding document, performance guarantee / Bank guarantee.
• Liaison with end user and consultants on technical solutions and technical specification.
• Managing project delivery right from received PO till delivery to site.
• Achieving sales target and implement sales excellence mindset.

Requirements

• 3 years of industry experience including a minimum of 2 years of sales.
• Strong technical knowledge of Building or Construction or Engineering industry.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Candidates must possess proficient presentation skills, as well as oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of people with diverse background of all levels and disciplines.
• Highly self-motivated individuals with go-getter attitude who have the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
