Location: South East Asia
Interocean is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Marine Technical Advisor to support our operations in South East Asia. This role is vital for ensuring the safe and reliable execution of marine operations while providing expert advice to clients on all marine-related matters.
The ideal candidate will have a verifiable robust background in offshore marine operations, ideally Master Mariner or Chief Engineer with experience on AHTS and Drilling Rigs, also with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements .
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical advice on marine operations, including feasibility studies, project assessments, and risk management.
- Review of documentation to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Assess marine vessel and equipment suitability for offshore operations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide support to other regions as required
- Indonesian Citizenship
- Fluent in Bahasa and English
- STCW CoC (Certificate of Competency)
- Full NI DP Certification
- Offshore experience as Master, Mate, OIM, Chief Engineer,
- Extensive DP background with a good knowledge of the FMEA process
- Knowledge of MTS Gap Analyses would be beneficial
- Valid offshore certification
