The Group’s main business in Indonesia has historically been the defense domain, where Thales is a long-term provider of defense systems for the Indonesian Army and Navy. In recent years there has been an increased interest in the Thales civil solutions especially in the field of transportation and air traffic control. With the growing attention to infrastructure development by the Indonesian government, Thales will have opportunities in the transportation and security domain.
As part of the Information Systems (IS) Governance Team, you will be working with the team in Singapore and across Asia to help track, manage and improve the IS projects in Asia. You will ensure project objectives in relation to cost, time and quality are achieved. The Project Manager will also act as a mentor to coach the functional teams on project management best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management of IS projects and ensure timely delivery, meeting the KPI set
- Work with functional teams, ensuring efficient delivery of work packages and project
- Standardize the PMO processes within the functional teams
- To build up an Agile mindset within the team
- Promote a continuous improvement environment: Creating innovative solutions to improve local efficiency, ensuring ‘lessons learned’ are captured and incorporated
- Prepare project communication materials as needed
- Actively participate in requirements gathering, planning, and meetings
Requirement:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience in IT/IS (applications, software, network, storage, server, systems etc)
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
- Tactful and have strong influencing skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Highly proficient in English
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
