Opportunity
As a full-time on-site Product Development Specialist located in Jakarta, you will play a key role in researching, designing, and executing the development of new smart home products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and ensure the seamless transition of products from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new product opportunities in the smart home sector.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, features, and specifications.
- Oversee the design and development of new products, ensuring functionality, usability, and aesthetic appeal.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to bring products from concept to production.
- Manage product testing and validation processes to ensure high-quality standards.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure successful product launches.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry innovations to drive product development.
- Prepare reports and presentations on product progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business, etc)
- Proven experience in product development, preferably in the technology or smart home industry.
- Strong understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and identify trends.
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of smart home technologies and trends is a plus.
