• Prepare drawing (calculation sheet and hose) for domestic market and Malaysia market
• Prepare and check drawings (fitting, ancillary, others related to product) for domestic market and Malaysia market.
• Prepare document for design and development of hose product (planning, input, output, review, verification, validation)
• Review contract content, prepare inquiry letter for making procedure and prepare making procedure 
• Prepare and check travel card of every MH order
• Prepare travel card package (BOM, actual material cost)
• Prepare drawing list, Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and another document for customer  
• Prepare procedure related to specification, technical and process of the product and make sure in line with actual production
• Investigate the nonconformity (NN) and prepare the corrective action and preventive action to solve a problem
• Research and conduct trial to new part, new material for improvement and cost down, and coordinate with related section 

- VENDOR SOURCING, NEGOTIATION, COST DOWN 

- MANAGE INCOMING DELIVERIES TO WAREHOUSE 

- LIAISE WITH STAKEHOLDERS FOR ON-TIME RECEIVING AND SYSTEM UPDATING 

- MANAGE OUTGOING SHIPMENTS FROM WAREHOUSE 

- IDENTIFY PROCESS BOTTLENECK TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY, QUALITY AND EFFICIENCY

• -Menerapkan komunikasi yang efektif di tempat kerja antara lain adalah menginterprestasikan dan menyampaikan informasi ditempat kerja, menerapkan pencatatan sesuai tugas di tempat kerja.

• -Melaksanakan pemeriksaan gondola sebelum dioperasikan antara lain adalah melakukan pemeriksaan keliling area pada bagian atas gedung dilokasi konstruksi system gondola, melakukan pemeriksaan system kerja tali baja, melakukan pemeriksaan system kelistrikan daru gondola, melakukan pemeriksaan perangkat keranjang gondola.
• -Melakukan gerakan dasar gondola antara lain melaksanakan uji coba motor penggerak, melaksanakan uji coba fungsi “Blockstop wire rope” untuk menstabilkan gerakan gondola, melakukan uji fungsi pengaman gerakan meluncur, membuat laporan hasil uji coba gerakan dasar pengoperasian gondola.
• -Melaksanakan operasional gondola antara lain melakukan pemeriksaan kondisi cuaca sebelum mengoperasikan gondola, melakukan pemasangan rambu-rambu kerja, mengoperasikan system komunikasi yang akan digunakan saat bekerja, Mengoperasikan system gondola dengan aman sesuai petunjuk pemakaian.
• -Membuat laporan harian operasi antara lain adalah membuat laporan harian operasi, membuat laporan K3 dan menyampaikan laporan kepada atasan langsung.

As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the Engineering Team, you will be trusted to work at the Batam Plant. This position is responsible for the improvement of manufacturing efficiency, safety on work environment, product quality, non-conformance investigation, and CAPA.  In this role, a typical day will include:

• Identify improvement projects related to productivity and material efficiency to meet business objectives by utilizing the Lean Six Sigma concept

• Optimize manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met

• Understand the failure/non-conformance investigation requirements based on International Standards, GMP/QSR US FDA, and ISO Standards

• Responsible for diagnosing problems, performing investigations and developing CAPA on related production issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and streamline processes to improve production productivity, quality, cost, and safety

• Implement Quality Control measures within Manufacturing Processes

• Responsible and accountable to ensure full compliance

• HSE implementation and performance in the Production Department. Provide support in area process responsibility for other HSE activities that are assigned by Management

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Degree in Industrial /Mechanical Engineering or a similar field

• 1 year of experience in the Manufacturing Industry with an understanding of the manufacturing process

• Proficient in communicating in English both verbally and written

• Strong in analytical thinking, data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Experience in working/certified in either Green Belt or Black Belt projects will be an advantage

• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel, thorough knowledge of various kinds of office software
