The Electronics Technician performs all tasks and duties of an technician discipline including but not limited to, installation or maintaining electrical control and instrumentation systems, i.e. electronics, programmable controllers, telecommunications, transmitters, and hydraulic, pneumatic systems. The Electronics Technician is responsible for all electrical and electronic instrumentation equipment pertaining to the drilling of the well, including circulating, rotating, hoisting and well control systems. The position is also responsible for uploading maintenance and repair data into a Maintenance Management System (MMS).

Essential Functions:

• Provide visible leadership with a Total Ownership attitude. Owns safety standards.
• Enforce, clarify, and follow Company and Client policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support the HSE objective of no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment as it relates to all IT discipline processes, procedures, and policies.
• Promote operational excellence through procedural discipline.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of those working under direct supervision.
• Comply with platform emergency response plan or station bills during emergencies and/ or drills.
• Responsible for morale and order within crew.
• Ensure Authorized To Operate (ATO) and Approved Competent Operator (ACO) are applied and followed
• Ensure Client competency standards are applied and requirements followed.
• Understand LO/TO and Permit to Work procedures.
• Implement and administer computer software programs for data log and control including management of change and version controls on software.
• Read, understand and analyze drawings, schematics and equipment manuals
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical /electronic equipment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Lead on the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of equipment.
• Enter maintenance and repair data into the SAP Maintenance Management System (MMS)
• Create Notifications and Work Orders as required and enter into SAP maintenance system
• Ensure an adequate amount of critical instrumentation spare parts are on hand and serviceable at all times.
• Repair or replace defective or worn electrical/electronic/instrument parts.
• Troubleshoot miscellaneous electrical/electronic equipment.
• Foresee potential equipment malfunctions or failures and perform required repairs or adjustments to resolve the problem.
• Respond to emergencies as requested and coordinate onsite activities to utilize resources to facilitate repairs in the most expedient and cost effective manner.
• Splice wire with approved cutting device or cutting pliers and solder connections to fixtures, outlets and equipment.
• Test circuit connections using electrical test equipment.
• Participate with installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and maintaining high/low voltage electrical equipment. Also assist with maintenance on related devices including transformers, power panels, light fixtures, receptacles, and disconnect switches.
• Submit requisitions to Senior Toolpusher /Purchasing Coordinator for approval.
• Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as may be directed.

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling and managing daily maintenance operations and activities in assigned area.

Essential Functions:

• In coordination with Rig Manager and Maintenance personnel, arrange for availability of equipment planned maintenance.
• Directly involved in planning, developing and implementing modifications, capital repairs and improvements, recommending specifications and managing schedules for maintenance and maintenance contracts.
• Interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with the management team to effectively meet departmental objectives.
• Coordinate activities with other rigs, programs and departments, including scheduling, coordinating and inspecting work performed by contractors.
• Respond to emergencies as requested and coordinate activities to utilize resources to affect repairs in the most expedient and cost effective manner.
• Monitor and report proper completion of al required data input including actual labor hours, comments, parts and supplies used in completing the Work Order.
• Assure conformance to all requirements of the Maintenance Management System including proper and timely completion of all work orders, unscheduled maintenance reports, failure analysis, root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Participate in selecting third party facilities and repair services from approved vendor list as required in the region, based on Company requirements and regulatory standards.
• Write applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality.
• Able and competent in root cause failure analysis leadership and investigations.
• Apply good stores management practices and parts management to ensure parts and equipment retain full reliability while stored.
• Schedule maintenance work into operations plan.
• Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervision to schedule manpower and resources for the most effective production and maintenance outcomes.
• Ensure third party contractor’s work meets the quality, cost and safety standards required by the Company.
• Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, maintenance department performance and planning and scheduling business flow process.
• Ensure that proper safety practices are followed in accordance with state and/or federal regulations and the Company’s HSE program.
• Abide by all Company policies and procedures.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to ensure that all maintenance and repairs of equipment are performed in a safe and efficient manner. The position is responsible for all drilling equipment pertaining to the drilling of the well. The position supervises onsite maintenance personnel to ensure that proper planning and scheduling of pre-determined maintenance is completed accordingly, including the availability of required parts.

Essential Functions:

• Provide visible leadership with a Total Ownership attitude.
• Enforce, clarify, and follow Company policies, standards, and procedures while promoting operational excellence through procedural discipline.
• Delegate work effectively with a clear definition of requirements and expectations while ensuring the safety of those working under direct supervision.
• Coordinates with Rig Superintendent and Preventative Maintenance Coordinator on the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of equipment.
• Create applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality.
• Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and maintaining maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Foresee potential equipment malfunctions or failures and performs required repairs, adjustments or modification to resolve the problem.
• Enters maintenance and repair data into a Maintenance management system (MMS)
• Provide onsite assistance and guidance to maintenance personnel with trouble shooting issues and repair.
• Monitor oil sample results and ensure recommendations are implemented onsite and reported accordingly.
• Track non-destructive testing and major maintenance to be performed at pre-determined intervals.
• Ensure third party contractor’s work meets the quality, cost and safety standards required by the company.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to schedule staffing and resources for the most effective productivity and timely completion of maintenance. Provide technical support for maintenance systems questions and problems.
• Support the HSE objective of no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment as it relates to all maintenance processes, procedures, and policies.
• Comply with platform emergency response plan or station bills during emergencies and/ or drills.
• Ensure Parker Drilling’s Competency program – Authorized to Operate (ATO) and Approved Competent Operator (ACO) are applied and followed.
