The purpose of the Senior Investment Executive is to deliver best-in-class campaign activation across all channels, delivering exceptional results against agreed parameters. The Senior Activation Executive reports into the Activation Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day development of the Activation Executive and Coordinator, management of their workload, and supervision of their output.

Responsibilites :

• Work with the Investment Manager & Director to drive negotiations for clients with media partners and secure additional incentives over and above entitlements.
• Keep pace with market knowledge that will aid negotiations with publishers.
• Negotiate trading positions across all media ensuring all benchmarks (client & internal), trading strategies & contractual agreements are met.
• Finalise Benchmarking and Pre-Trade work before booking to ensure the rate position is best in market
• Identify and recommend optimisation opportunities and ensure those optimisations are taken place promptly and correctly.
• Assist Activation Executives and Coordinators in developing detailed weekly (or agreed reporting schedule) and final post analysis.

• Develop a digital planning strategy.
• Translate strategy to proposal (digital media planning).
• Develop solid digital media proposals.
• Global ad hoc request, local ad hoc request, regular report (monthly/weekly).
• Establish good relationships with clients to ensure smooth operation.
• Overall account stewardship to ensure communication strategy and implementation are in sync with clients' business direction.
• Undertake key initiatives/business solutions in tandem with clients' goals, business objectives, and priorities.
• Maintain regular WIPs, dialogues, and reviews to ensure effective work processes.
• Improve and uphold agency evaluation.
• Understand the clients' digital guidelines and infrastructure.
• Groom team for digital planning knowledge; center for integration and evaluation of buying/reporting/optimization to build excellence benchmark for the overall team.
• Oversee implementation of back-end campaign tracking and analytics.

Responsibilities:

 Media Competencies

• Oversee a portfolio of digital media clients, with a focus on strategic vision, team management, process refinement, and financial administration
• Manage all projects to ensure the highest level of quality assurance, performance and innovation
• Steward client interest in the areas of tracking and delivering measurable results and analytics, market knowledge, and audience insights
• Promote when appropriate, the use of other agency services - research, technology, creative, etc. - in executing the media campaigns and cohesive programs
• Stay well versed in new technologies and trends in order to apply them strategically to the client’s business as well as proactively construct business-building ideas

 Relationship Development

• Work collaboratively in planning sessions regarding client strategy and approach, providing leadership, consultation and acting as a voice for digital media
• Establish and manage relationships with senior media clients as well as be a key agency contact and resource for clients across other disciplines/departments
• Partner with other brand agency leads to deliver unified cross-platform strategies and ideas
• Collaborate with agency cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive business solutions and strategies
• Manages workflow, efficient and profitable servicing of clients, staffing levels, fosters healthy team structure, team assignments

 Financial Competencies

• Manage and oversee monthly and end-of-campaign client billing, digital media budget reconciliations
• Maintain knowledge of reporting, analytic, auditing, and financial platforms and tools along with their functionality

 Leadership & Management Competencies

• Keep other agency departments informed about the digital media work produced for clients and best practices
• Liaise with high-level brand representatives including VPs and CMOs
• Enforce established agency policies and procedures; work continually
• Assist in new business efforts as needed
• Provide leadership/motivation and convey the vision and values of the agency to media staff
• Critiques conducts reviews, and performance evaluation of media team to ensure that effective, efficient and profitable staff operations are maintained; working closely with Associate Media Directors and other assigned staff to provide mentorship and guidance to the team

• Able to synthesize various media statistics and information to develop recommendations and opinions in the area of emerging digital media

• Help provide communication solutions that consider all potential appropriate routes, e.g. with a focus on performance media – paid search, programmatic, digital, social as well as offline media, web analytics, branded content, communications planning etc
• Creates strategies and makes in-depth recommendations based on strong grasp of analytics, marketing & research concepts
• Manages the daily work flow of all client campaigns, and working with various internal and external stakeholders, including creative agencies and media owners to deliver campaign objectives
