You'll join our Indonesia Compliance Payments Team, playing a pivotal role in establishing, upholding, and overseeing compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will encompass fostering the company's commitment to corporate governance, maintaining internal policies and documentation, and preparing relevant compliance reports for daily business operations. Additionally, you'll offer support to various teams, ensuring their adherence to regulatory requirements. Your diligence will contribute to the company and our related subsidiaries remaining fully compliant with all applicable Indonesia laws and regulations.

What you'll do:

• Develop, assess, and uphold internal policies and procedures to align seamlessly with relevant laws and regulations, particularly regarding Payments.
• Oversee and maintain the company's compliance with regulatory frameworks, corporate governance standards, and internal policies, ensuring comprehensive documentation.
• Facilitate communication between the companies, regional teams, consultants, investors, and auditors on compliance/ payments-related matters.
• Scrutinize company procedures and reports to proactively identify potential risks and compliance issues.
• Manage regulatory reporting frameworks meticulously, ensuring timely submissions and prompt response to any ad-hoc requests from regulatory bodies.
• Ensure the rigorous implementation of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML and CFT) programs in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Conduct compliance awareness programs and training sessions for internal stakeholders.
• Prepare compliance/payments-related reports adhering to relevant guidelines and standards.
• Execute the objectives and key results (OKRs) outlined by the risk and compliance team,
• Take proactive steps to achieve departmental and managerial targets, aligning efforts with organizational goals.

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, economics, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Possess a minimum of 7 years' experience as a Compliance or Internal Audit staff member in financial/compliance/payments services.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the fintech payments industry, multi-finance, and/or banking & finance.
• Proficient in OJK regulations, including KYC and AML/CFT procedures.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

In this role, you are the main person in charge of all regulatory and internal policy compliance activities in the company. You will play a critical role in supporting new business development, new products, and ensuring business continuity by ensuring compliance to applicable laws and regulations. You will be managing a small team of compliance staff, handling a couple of business units in Cermati Fintech Group.

To succeed in this role, you will need both strong analytical minds and knowledge of the regulations in the fintech/financial industry, and show communication and influencing skills towards the regulators.

• Drive key projects related to new licensing with Bank Indonesia, OJK, Bappebti, or other applicable regulators
• Stay up-to-date with new and updates to current regulations, assess and interpret the impact on our business
• Review and/or recommend updating and improving the Company policies, provisions, systems and procedures with the provisions of regulation and the prevailing laws and regulations.
• Liaise with different stakeholders to drive the necessary changes to comply with the law and regulations
• Actively develop professional network and influence within the applicable associations and regulators (AFPI, APPARINDO, AFTECH, etc)
• Ensure all routine and adhoc reports to regulators are submitted accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform or direct the internal investigation of risk compliance issues

• Perform risk assessments across functional areas and maintain operational risk.

• Participate and assist with development of systems to facilitate risk monitoring and risk improvement by ensuring that the risk identification process is aligned with the Groups targets and objectives.

• Assist with the development and implementation of compliance plans and programs.

• Assist with the development of the strategic plans to achieve agreed targets and effective planning.

• Prepare Compliance Program Reports for top-level management based on internal reviews.

• Identify the shortfalls in and/or potential improvements to policy and process; assess effectiveness of current policies and processes and recommend and implement required changes.

• Maintain internal company procedures to ensure that our staff is kept up to date regarding any modifications to existing compliance PP, SOP, tax regulation, applicable laws, government regulation and industry standard.

• Coordinate and conduct Compliance Program and project as assigned.

• Prepare Compliance Working Paper and Reports on timely manner.

• Escalate major finding or issue to Compliance Leader.

• Monitor, review and analyze deficiencies and irregularities to provide effective solutions.

• Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.

• Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.

• Achieves and exceeds goals in KPI, Budget, Team’s Goals , etc.

• Ensure high quality & reliable Compliance Working Paper & Reports :

• All information is accurate, valid and based on actual condition
• Working paper is informative, neat, free of administrative error, clean.
• Document the company’s compliance activities to provide proof the company complies with PP, SOP, applicable laws, government regulation and industry standard.

• Leverages technology and effectively uses information systems and tools to generate compliance reports and provide management with analytical support to drive decision-making.

• Assist Compliance Leader to interact, co-operate, and maintain relationships with all members of the organization for feedback and to obtain client / customer satisfaction.

1. 4-year bachelor’s degree (S1) in Legal.

2. Having experience in a Law Firm will be an advantage.

3. Maximum 30 years old and based in Bali.

4. Proficient in English and Bahasa (written and oral)

5. Basic knowledge of corporate law and government regulations.

6. Have a good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prepare performance reports of the QC Team, conduct analysis, and engage in discussions with the Head of Collection on new strategies, work programs, regulations, SOPs, capacity plans, and other matters pertaining to the QC process.
• Create, execute, monitor, evaluate, and enhance programs, methodologies, and training initiatives.
• Analyze Quality Control test results and deliver feedback and interpretation to the Collection Team.
• Ensure seamless integration of all Quality Control activities within the program's work management system and technology.
• Oversee, assess, evaluate, and enhance the performance of the QC Teams to meet the KPI targets and motivate team members to attain plan goals.
• Participate in Collection Meetings with the Collection Manager.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, with a preference for a background in finance, banking, or a related field.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Genuine enthusiasm for the dynamic landscape of the financial technology industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building.
• Previous experience in Agency Management is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and Google Drive is a must.
