PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Being the head of the Product Marketing department, she / he is responsible for the development of the individuals in her / his team. Working closely with other departments such as Sales, Training, Customer Development and Business Controller, she / he should demonstrate not only the functional capabilities, but also leadership and passion of the Brand.

YOUR MISSION: 

PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

1. Forecasting

• Ensure accuracy of product forecast and timely submissions. (Measures: launch tracking)

2. Product Registration

• Ensure close liaison with Central Registration support team so that products can be launch in line with ASPAC launch date. (Measures: On shelf date)

3. Product Assortment

• Close monitoring of competitor’s product assortment and thereby identify our key priorities in Indonesia to gain market share. (Measures: monthly tracking)

4. Product Listing

• Work closely with sales team to ensure products are listed into key retailer’s assortment in a timely manner (measures: Retailer’s On shelf date)

5. Product Merchandising

• Work closely with merchandising team to ensure planograms are fully optimized and carrying the right assortment for each door (measures: presence rate)

6. Management on non-sellable items

• Sampling management: ensure the right mix of samples to help achieve business objective. Work closely with sales team to ensure the right guideline for sampling is disseminated and followed closely by BCs
• GWP/Gifts management: utilizing GWP to drive higher basket purchase and create buzz to drive traffic to store.

7. Pricing

• Review and analyze central’s recommendation of prices for new products. Ensure the pricing is competitive and in line with regional parity & local competitiveness. Review annual price increase with central team to ensure our prices stay competitive in the market.

CRM

1. Planning & Execution of CRM initiatives including Rollout of new communication platforms in Indonesia, Client EDM management and client events & reward programs. 

2. Identify opportunities and weakness; and take pro-active action on the following:

• Increase recruitment rate
• Retention for customers by developing trial and loyalty
• Improve cross-selling
• Improve on repurchase rate

3. Data analysis (through PowerBI reports and Datamart/WinCRM) and drilling to

• Identify potential target market for key launches and events

E-RETAIL / E-COMMERCE

1. Monitoring daily E-Commerce operation

2. Monthly reporting to Central HQ for E-Commerce business

3. Monthly Planning for E-Commerce: including animation, GWP & Samples usage

BRAND COMMUNICATION

1. Assist with timely PO issuing and invoice management for media agencies

2. Work with regional media team to execute media campaigns locally

3. Drive PR & KOL initiatives in Indonesia to achieve #1 PR dominance in market

• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines from an accredited institution.
• Excellent in written and spoken English.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Position purpose:

·       Lead and manage our sales operations across various retail channels, including department stores, account management, chain stores, and specialty beauty stores.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategize, implement, and oversee the national sales strategy for fragrances and skincare products in alignment with company objectives.
• Manage and expand the distribution of products across department stores, beauty retail chains, and other channels.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, ensuring clear targets and high performance across all regions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and department store, negotiating terms and securing prime product placements.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and generate reports to track the performance of all product lines.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan in-store promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns to drive sales.
• Maintain and ensure the sales training to department store staff and retail partners to have product knowledge and high standards of customer service.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure optimal inventory levels across all sales channels. Manage sales budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Continuously monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, specifically within luxury fragrances, skincare, or beauty industries.
• Min. bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience managing sales in department stores, beauty retailers, and other relevant channels.
• Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and drive a high-performing sales team.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with key retail partners and department stores.
• Proficiency in sales forecasting, reporting, and using data to drive business decisions.
• Passion for luxury beauty products with a customer-centric approach to sales and service.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both internal teams and external accounts.

Description of Duties:

Plan function

Job Description

Sales Development

• Identify and build new and existing sales channels within Indonesia to grow the brand.
• Deliver sales objectives in retail sales, net sales and delivering targeted gross margin, ensuring long term sustainable growth.
• Steer profitability of the business for both trade accounts or brand owned boutiques.
• Partner and negotiate to drive strong support by partners to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain and develop collaborative relationships ensuring long term sustainable growth.
• Drive sales growth through educating and motivating beauty advisors/ cast members
• Navigate and drive solutions for complex situations.
• Effectively manage and drive retail KPIs like conversions, traffic, basket and etc to elevate performance of animations, stores and staff.
• Effectively manage and drive store animation or large-scale event through activation of field staff and working with marketing and education.
• Understanding opportunities within markets, work with regional team to develop business plans for new doors and to increase sales for existing via instore events, brand activation
• Partner closely with marketing to drive launch, animation and sales.
• Support regional educational manager to plan, schedule and facilitate in-store and classroom trainings
• To be the face of LUXASIA to the trade partners to build strong rapport, partnership and relationship.

Manage the Product, Channel, Retail & Stock Planning

• Drive the achievement of the retail and net sales budgets (sell-in & returns) based on accurate forecasting and planning.
• Support the net sales management through effective reporting and communication to the internal team and business control. • Manage and support the fulfilment need of trade and retail for ad-hoc transfers and delivery planning when necessary.
• Manages the day to day operations Digital Channel to ensure accuracy and sales planning. Support of the Sales Planning Process of Indonesia
• Participate in the definition of the sales planning (Forecasting rounds, retailer targets etc.)
• Manage the product allocation process in conjunction with Indonesia
• Manage and monitor the planning and ordering of products (newness, seasonal, animation activations and regulars) by the trade EDIs and retail team, in conjunction with marketing and sales
• Manage stock forecast and inbound shipments to Indonesia.

Sales & Trade Campaigns Support & Management

• Drive and manage the trade and retail animation process from sales, inventory planning, operations, and people planning), while engaging with effective incentive drivers to deliver results.
• Manage compliance in trade returns process and ensure the budget tracking and management.
• Analyze and manage inventory holdings for all channels at healthy level.
• Drive the people planning for retail team to ensure optimization and SOPs are observed.
• Manage the retail people and the team planning budget.
• Strategize and manage the payroll planning, tabulation and checks for retail payout.

• With a Degree in Business Management or equivalent
• With at least 8 years of relevant of working experience in sales for Retail, FMCG, Sales or Beauty.
