Job Summary

1. Ensure timely completion of application coding with project schedule.

2. Develop and code application systems in compliance with Allianz prescribed development standards and user

functional specifications.

3. Undertake comprehensive unit and integrated testing in accordance with SDLC standards.

4. Support System Integration (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

5. Assist in development of project schedule and post implementation review activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for application coding using prescribed development tools within defined project schedule.

2. Responsible to develop test plan and data and undertake complete unit and modular testing activities.

3. Responsible to ensure documentation of all coding changes and enhancements are in compliance with existing

procedures.

4. Responsible in ensuring UAT completion and sign off by User.

5. Shall participate in application design discussions as required.

6. Responsible to ensure all request initiation according to procedures.

7. Undertake tasks, which may be assigned to you from time to time by your superior.

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.

2. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Life Insurance Core system or related field and ability to guide and re view the codes of the junior developer.

3. Required strong Programming Skills: PL/SQL, Oracle Apex/Forms and Oracle Reports.

4. Required good experience in Oracle Database 18c or above.

5. Required good security skills on securing the application and integration. (not using 3rd party software)

6. Familiar with Oracle server environment.

7. Good Experience on troubleshooting the deployment issues in Oracle servers.

8. Experience in developing enterprise high-volume transactional application which sharing codes across multiple

platforms with cross-browser compatibility, involved end to end system integration are added advantages.

9. Highly adaptable and ability to pick up new skills in a short period of time.

10. Good Interpersonal and communication skills.

11. Committed and able to work under pressure to meet assignment deadline.

We are seeking an experienced API and Integration Expert to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing APIs, with a strong background in Java, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies, specifically AWS API Gateway and Azure API Management.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Designed, developed, and maintained Java APIs and integrated them with customer and Youtap environments.
• Manage and optimize the deployment of APIs on cloud platforms, primarily AWS and Azure.
• Configure and manage API gateways on AWS and Azure for security, traffic management, analytics, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration solutions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and functionality.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends in API development and cloud services.
• Document API development and management processes.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in API development and management.
• Proficiency in Java and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Extensive experience with AWS API Gateway and Azure API Management.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience in implementing security and compliance best practices for APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Experience with other cloud services and database technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
