The Accounting Staff is responsible for supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization. This role involves a variety of tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and assisting with financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile various accounts, such as bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of entries.
- A/P and A/R: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections.
- Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns, including corporate and sales tax returns.
- Audits: Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Other Duties: Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
