As a Senior Data Analyst (Risk), you will be at the intersection of our Business and Data in Funding Societies, working primarily with our Risk and Credit teams.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong sense of ownership, a deep appreciation of data and fundamental understanding of end-to-end analytics functions. What you will do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to understand business drivers, formulate and complete end-to-end analytics solution.
• Design, develop and maintain self-service reports, dashboards and analysis on interactive BI tools for easier data visualization
• Contribute in collection, processing and modelling of financial data using SQL from complex databases to integrate into data warehouse that can be used for reporting/analysis and to give recommendations and drive decision making
• Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to different audiences, creating visual displays of quantitative information that drives financial decisions in the business
• Find innovative and creative ways to obtain and drill insights from new financial data

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years experience in credit risk / risk management / data analytics.
• Passionate in analysing and interpreting data patterns to drive business decisions, understanding Data Warehousing and ETL would be a plus!
• Highly proficient in SQL / Python and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Sisense, PowerBI).
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills in order to collaborate confidently with decision makers across different regions and departments.
• CFA / FRM / Chartered Banker would be an added advantage.

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will be part of a larger Data Analytics team and work directly with a senior data analyst, to communicate your findings and build strategies around them.

What you will do:

• Provide support to overall Data Analytics team, specifically Growth domain
• Understand business problems from the department, identify and document requirements and data needed to solve them
• Performing daily data operations tasks, such as debugging errors, fixing dashboards & other ad hoc tasks
• Work closely with datasets to build data visualisation and dashboards that inform strategic planning and sound business decisions
• Understand functional and technical requirements to build reports that deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders
• Identify and Automate any repetitive tasks currently performed by team members

As a Data Analytics Intern (Finance), you will be part of a regional function working to support the finance department in Funding Societies. The role requires using a mix of skills including analysis, effective communication, creative problem solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to solve complex finance related business problems.

What you will do:

• Data Warehousing: Performing daily data operations tasks, such as pipeline checking, backfilling data, root cause analysis. 
• Automation: Build automation for some finance data alerts & checkers
• Dashboard: Assist dashboard operational tasks includes checking refresh schedules and updating 
• Operational: Support ad-hoc projects or duties and document the finance data glossary  assigned from time to time

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Lead Data Analyst - Finance to join our dynamic team at Funding Societies. As a lead data analyst, you will be part of a fun team which will be working to support all business functions with finance focus in Funding Societies. In short, the function of a data analyst is to understand the needs of the business and use data to derive a solution that you will then present, implement, and track and add value to the company and its performance. What will you do:

• Lead, mentor & enable team members to drive a high performance team
• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of Finance data analysts work for key projects such as finance audit, finance closing, regulatory & BAU reporting
• Pioneer and develop financial analysis capabilities within the data team, and perform some hands on analyses yourself to drive insights from multiple data sources
• Collaborate with regional Finance and various business teams, plan roadmap & quarterly OKR, drive projects and propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Establish best practices in coding & analytics solutions 
• Contribute to driving overall team process improvements through new frameworks, processes, and execution excellence 

What we are looking for:

Must-haves

• Qualifications Bachelor in finance and/or quantitative related disciplines or equivalent. 3-7 years of experience
• Good stakeholder management ability 
• Ability to be hands on and mentor team members problem solve 
• Prioritization skills
• Experience leading and managing team performance for at least 1 year
• Strong logical reasoning and analytical mind, with can-do attitude
• Independent learner who enjoys solving challenges (Google is your best friend)
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with cross-departmental and cross-team projects experience, independently promoting project execution
• SQL, Python, visualization tools such as Tableau/Qlik experience required
• English is required

Good to have:

• Experience working in FinTech or financial industries highly preferred
• Experience in working on performance management, cost allocation, financial statement analysis, building financial model with basic accounting understanding is preferred
• Experience with agile methodology
• Understanding of ELT workflow
