As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the Engineering Team, you will be trusted to work at the Batam Plant. This position is responsible for the improvement of manufacturing efficiency, safety on work environment, product quality, non-conformance investigation, and CAPA.  In this role, a typical day will include:

• Identify improvement projects related to productivity and material efficiency to meet business objectives by utilizing the Lean Six Sigma concept

• Optimize manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met

• Understand the failure/non-conformance investigation requirements based on International Standards, GMP/QSR US FDA, and ISO Standards

• Responsible for diagnosing problems, performing investigations and developing CAPA on related production issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and streamline processes to improve production productivity, quality, cost, and safety

• Implement Quality Control measures within Manufacturing Processes

• Responsible and accountable to ensure full compliance

• HSE implementation and performance in the Production Department. Provide support in area process responsibility for other HSE activities that are assigned by Management

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Degree in Industrial /Mechanical Engineering or a similar field

• 1 year of experience in the Manufacturing Industry with an understanding of the manufacturing process

• Proficient in communicating in English both verbally and written

• Strong in analytical thinking, data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Experience in working/certified in either Green Belt or Black Belt projects will be an advantage

• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel, thorough knowledge of various kinds of office software

• Effective communication with coworkers across departments, attention to detail, ability to multitask and mentoring.

As a Senior Engineer Facility Utility supporting the Facilities Team, you will be trusted to work at the Batam Plant. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Understand the Project deliverables requirements based on International Standards; GMP/QSR US FDA, and ISO standards

• Deep Understanding of ISO 14644 cleanroom standard for medical device manufacturing

• Perform Coordinating, managing and investigations related to projects which may involve NCR, safety incidents and other investigations as necessary

• Manage all facility & utility activities under project such as URS, budgeting, raise PR/ PO, technical justification, prepare documents related to facility & utilities, vendor supervision, testing, commissioning as needed, end to end project management for facility & utility scopes

• Collaborate with other departments and generate technical documentation related to projects

• Facility-related projects implementation and execution within timelines and budget

• Working in accordance with the HSE Manual and documented procedures, and reporting HSE issues to the respective area owners

• Code of Conduct, HSE Policy and National HSE Standards are Implemented and respected

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or relevant field

• At least 3 years of experience working in a Pharmaceutical or Medical Device company with project transfer experience

• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical / Medical Device documentation standards (User Requirement Specification [URS], Validation Document [experience to write/prepare/ review], Change Request

As an Equipment Engineer Supervisor supporting the Engineering Team, you will be trusted to work at the Batam Plant. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Responsible for providing technical support and continuous improvement in the Equipment Engineering/maintenance and ensuring the successful operation of manufacturing, safety, productivity, validation, and team goals/targets are met while in compliance to company implemented policy (internal/global Alcon quality procedure, HSE, DI, GDP, SOP, and 5S)

• Responsible for all machine PM execution and machine performance. Equipment Engineering, to coordinate with related departments to ensure all of PM can be executed as per the schedule plan with very minimum impact on productivity. Review all of PM procedures and effectiveness and efficiency

As a data analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and presenting data to support decision-making and business intelligence.

You will work with various stakeholders across the CVB organization to identify data needs, define metrics, deliver insights, and collaborate with other IT Team Members from other sites to ensure data quality, security, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using tools such as AWS, Foresight, and Alteryx.

• Conduct data analysis and visualization using tools such as Tableau and SQL.

• Apply statistical and analytical methods to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.

• Develop and maintain data documentation, metadata, and data dictionaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.

• At least two years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or data science.

1. Assists with implementation of the necessary systems and tools to enable site leaders to manage compliance with all pertinent HSE regulations, permits, statutes, local ordinances and/or other externally driven requirements (e.g. SMK3 in accordance to the PP No.50 year of 2012, etc.).
2. Assists with implementation of the necessary systems and tools to enable site leaders to manage conformance with all pertinent Alcon HSE Global Operating Procedure, as well as relevant local OSH regulations.
3. Ensures that HSE services are provided to the site in an effective and efficient manner and works directly with business leaders.
4. May serve as the primary point of contact on HSE issues at the site for regulatory authorities and co-ordinates the response to regulatory inspections.
5. Develops effective and efficient HSE Management System and provides assistance for some of the supporting programs (e.g., Chemical Safety, Biosafety, Radiation Safety, Alcon Crisis Management (ACM) that are appropriate in consideration of the site’s complexity, population, regulatory burden/safety, criticality and location.
6. Develops and drives incident response procedures.
7. Develops and drives the risk management program for the site, and guide owner in effective implementation of risk control (e.g. HIRA, HAZOP, Management of Change, as applicable).
8. Fulfil the role and responsibility as HSE Committee Secretary for the Site HSE Committee (P2K3).
