MidPlaza Holding is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Assistant Manager of Tax to join our Corporate Office in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will support the tax department in managing tax compliance, audits, and transactions, ensuring alignment with regulations and internal policies. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure effective tax planning and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with local tax laws.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax savings opportunities.
• Prepare tax provision calculations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Supervise and mentor tax staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate and liaise with tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary changes within the organization.
• Assist in developing tax strategies and policies that align with business goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance or consulting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Certified Brevet A and B is required.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using tax software and MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Taxation from reputable universities.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws related to transfer pricing, regulations, and compliance requirements, specifically in hospitality and property industry.
• Certified in Brevet A, B, & C is preferable.
• Certified in Tax Consultant (IKPI) is preferable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field, specifically in tax consultant.

• Prepare selected work paper on timely manner and with department’s quality standard.
• Maintain audit department’s policy and procedure for audit quality assurance.
• Conduct audit test work for the audit objectives identified, and prepare work paper.
• Perform all field work in competent and professional manner.
• Provide evidential support for all report recommendation.
• Assist Senior in preparing accurate and concise audit report to the management.
• Assist Senior in monitoring the audit budget and realization to meet the deadline.
• To exercise discretion in the review of records to ensure confidentiality.

• Bachelor degree from reputable university with min IPK 3.0 majoring in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 1 year experience in audit field.
• Experienced in handling hospitality client and SAP accounting software is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in internal controls, observations and giving recommendations for business process and control issues as well as its operations

• Being in-charge for audit engagement
• Manage audit fieldwork according to Department's Standard.
• Prepare audit plans, audit procedure/program, risk analysis, monitoring audit progress together with Manager or Assistant
• Perform checking on compliance to SOP and test of operating effectiveness of internal control.
• Perform substantive testing or test of details and analytical procedure
• Prepare audit working paper in complete, systematic and timely manner according to Department's Standard
• Review subordinates working paper. Perform coaching, training for team members
• Prepare Deficiency Matrix. Communicate and discuss audit findings and recommendation with clients

• Bachelor degree from reputable university with min IPK 3.0 majoring in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 2 year experience in audit field
