INDICO is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team on a project basis. You will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models that solve real-world problems while collaborating with various teams to provide actionable insights.

What you will do but not limited to:

• Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• Conduct experiments to optimize model performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature selection, and model evaluation.
• Monitor and maintain machine learning systems and pipelines in production.
• Communicate findings and present results to stakeholders.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field from reputable university
• Real-world experience in developing and deploying AI / ML applications, both with structured and unstructured data (such as Computer Vision, NLP, LLM)
• Proficiency in programming languages (such as Python, Java, Scala, Rust)
• Strong understanding popular AI / ML frameworks and libraries (such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices
• Understanding in software development practices
• Experience with big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia

What you will do but not limited to:

• Manage infrastructure on GCP
• Participate in the entire software development process including design, development, delivery, monitoring, and improvement
• Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, scalability, and security
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
• Closely collaborating with other engineering and product teams to ensure that expected system behavior is understood and monitoring exists to detect anomalies
• Participate in continuous improvement and execution of quality and timely major incident root cause analysis and blameless post-mortem activities to ensure we take action to avoid similar problems in the future

Expected KPI

• Maintain uptime for critical infrastructure components
• Make sure all infrastructure components monitored (Redis, PgSQL, etc) - by node count
• Make sure 80% of alerts have Time To Acknowledge below 30m in office hours
• Make sure 80% of infra provisioning / configuration requests handled below 3h in average in office hours

What you will do, but not limited to:

• Execute tasks in an agile software development cycle.
• Develop applications by producing clean, efficient, and tested code.
• Find guidance and best practices in quality software development to peer engineering teams.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools, scripting, and continuous integration/delivery process.
• Review and debug code.
• Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and design teams to fix and improve products.
• Document development phases and monitor application quality.

• A minimum total of 3 years experience in web application development using popular frameworks such as React/Vue.
• Strong passion for building secure, high quality, testable, reusable, and clean code.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience in building complex software systems in web applications.
• Experience in developing scalable application using cloud computing native technologies
• Experience in working with automated testing tools and continuous integration/continuous delivery.

• Well experienced in build and manage ETL process for data transformation, quality and reliability. 

• Well experience in building data platform based on server cluster such as Hadoop, Spark and Kafka and using any of the major CSPs (AWS, GCP or Azure). 

• Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested, reusable, secure code and follow INDICO CI/CD pipeline. 

• Strong in technical expertise with various data sources & types. 

• Having Data engineering or Cloud certification is a plus.
