Some of your duties will include:
· Supervising, designing and calculations, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
· Supervising, controlling and monitoring the installation and operations conform to standards and technical requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings.
· Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
· Conferring with other functions, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
· Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
· Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or technical requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
· Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes
· Supervise with scheduling major electrical projects from ordering parts to performing the work in a timely and cost-effectengineeive manner.
· Investigate component failures, communicating results to Operations and Associates to aid in increased levels of safe production
· Supervise with electrical and mechanical projects, installations, and shutdowns.
· Supervise in developing and maintaining a preventative and predictive maintenance program
· Maintain effective communication with plant operational personnel, maintenance, and supervision
· Help with all other plant maintenance as needed
· Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
· Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
· Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
· Maintaining electrical equipment and following approved company procedures plan, schedule, control and completely document all work performed on the plant DCS system and distributed PLC’s including troubleshooting and configurations changes.
· Monitor and assist in the planning of daily and future scheduled plant repairs, included assist to work of Instrumentation and control and DCS personnel to ensure the are working in a safe and efficient manner while following approved company procedures.
· Working with a variety of technicians.
· Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extreme heat, cold, wetness, dryness, dust, and noisy conditions.
