Advisory Services

• Acts as MEL and KM technical expert for the Country Director, Sector Leaders, and Project Managers throughout different project stages i.e., design, inception, execution, closure to ensure the projects meet the SNV’s minimum requirements
• Delivers project(s)’ MEL design and implementation, including leading MEL framework development, planning and implementing activities, contributing to report development according to SNV’s and donor’s requirements
• Ensures and monitors the quality of both individual and MEL team performance, advises for necessary enhancements

Knowledge Development

• Leads Knowledge Management initiatives and supervises KM Officer, including KM framework development, delivery, and evaluation
• Ensures progress, achievements, and lessons learned from projects are captured and shared in accessible platforms, applied in daily practice, and utilised to inform various needs (e.g., government reporting) and future works (e.g., business development)
• Proposes corrective measures to the Country Director, Sector Leaders, and Project Managers based on learnings identified
• Participates in knowledge development expertise groups and in internal (e.g., SNV’s Community of Practice) and external networks

Project and Process Development

• Leads MEL team’s work and budget planning, oversees its implementation, and identifies opportunities and challenges for quality delivery
• Ensures MEL team’s compliance with SNV’s values and policies, advises and acts on improvements area
• Together with Project Manager, Sector Leader or Country Director to communicate the MEL deliverables to the donors, government or relevant stakeholders.

People Management

• Steers MEL team members and coaches them both professionally as operationally on quality within the context of their assignments
• Acts as a MEL and KM technical expert, offers constructive technical feedback to MEL team members and SNV colleagues

Positioning

• Identifies SNV’s strengths and weaknesses in MEL and KM, analyses market’s needs, and advises the Country Director and Sector Leaders on necessary enhancements
• Informs and coaches relevant colleagues about the latest development in MEL and KM
• Acts as SNV’s representative in relevant MEL and KM networks and in front of key stakeholders

Business Development

• Participates in internal business development process and advises on MEL and KM aspect to meet SNV’s and donor’s proposal requirements
• Contributes to external business development initiatives, e.g., maintains and utilises relationships with relevant stakeholders

The Project Coordinator is responsible for leadership and coordination of program planning and management; coordination of programmatic themes; political analysis, including but not limited to:

• Execute overall project management
• Guide the project set-up,
• Manage donor and government relations
• Overall management of all human resources, physical and financial resources related to the project.
• Monitor the performance of the project management team to ensure all milestones set in the annual work plan are achieved, develop mitigation plans to reduce risks, and take corrective actions to remedy any deviation from the work plans
• Account and report to SNV and the donor on project performance
• Guide knowledge development, documentation, communication, and branding in close collaboration with the donor
• Identify follow-up funding and partnership possibilities, and business development.
• Develop a value chain and commercialize the production of palm oil and alternative crops for income generating activities
• Closely supervise the MEL to implement baseline study, midterm review, final evaluation, and regular monitoring

The Project Field Officer works to ensure the (quality of the) service delivery to the client or user community. Executes the local delivery of the project conform advice given by the advisor(s)/ project manager and conform SNV procedures and guidelines, making sure timelines and project standards are met. Anticipates on delivery challenges to ensure service and delivery continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide capacity building to the targeted smallholders, local champions, and any selected stakeholders.
• Provide any intervention relevant to project goals, such as oil palm BMP reg ag training & coaching, RSPO certification, develop composting unit, facilitate replanting program, farmer organizations empowerment, etc. 
• Communicates intensively and regularly with internal and external stakeholders in the project, including governments, private sectors and other project partners.
• Represent SNV and actively involved in any professional platform such as Rencana Aksi Daerah Kelapa Sawit Berkelanjutan.
• Support MNE activities in data collection and assuring data quality.
• Contribute to the report development by providing relevant data and information.
• Support Project Manager in monitoring the quality-of-service delivery and effectiveness of applied methodology

Uraian Tugas

1. Sebagai Pengemudi

Secara umum tugas pengemudi adalah mengoperasikan kendaraan SNV untuk menyediakan moda transportasi yang aman dan nyaman bagi kegiatan Horas Hub dengan berpanduan terhadap peraturan lalu lintas dan standar umum keselamatan mengemudi.

Secara khusus tugas sebagai pengemudi adalah:

• Memeriksa kondisi kendaraan sebelum dan sesudah pemakaian, melaporkan jika terjadi kerusakan atau diperlukan perbaikan terhadap kendaraan
• Mengendarai kendaraan SNV seperti ditugaskan oleh atasan
• Patuh kepada peraturan lalu lintas, standar keselamatan dan peraturan SNV
• Memastikan kendaraan siap, bersih dan berfungsi dengan baik untuk pemakaian setiap waktu
• Melakukan pemeliharan rutin kendaraan
• Mencatat kegiatan harian dalam buku harian penggunaan kendaraan sesuai dengan kebijakan di SNV.

1. Tugas administrasi:

• membantu pekerjaan administrasi saat berada di kantor, termasuk namun tidak terbatas pada: memberikan bantuan pengurusan imigrasi, HRD, Fotokopi, Scanning, filing (arsip), pengaturan brosur/ majalah/ surat kabar.
• Mengantar surat atau barang sesuai kebutuhan SNV.
• Tugas adminisrasi lainnya yang diberikan oleh atasan untuk mendukung kegiatan SNV

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and qualified individual to join the team as Governance Support Officer. In this position, you are responsible to monitor and support the organisation's compliance (legal, tax, donor and policy coherence oversight), corporate risk and control, contracting and procurement project execution, and country logistics to ensure the organisation, country and project teams are compliant to SNV’s policies and procedures, legal, tax and donor contractual requirements.

Key Deliverables

1. Timely and quality reporting for the MoU, including RIK planning and reporting as follows:
   1. Gather relevant data (project, finance, HR) for the purpose of country planning and reporting to Government of Indonesia at national, provincial and district levels.
   2. Write planning and (semi) annual progress reports with inputs from project managers and management to be submitted to the Government of Indonesia as part of the MoU. 
2. Coordinates with relevant ministries in monitoring of the operational permit (MOU) and on the work permit for foreign employees.
3. Responds adequately to information requests from government partners regarding SNV projects.
4. Organize coordination and monitoring meetings of projects in close collaboration with Project Management of SNV as required in agreements with the Government of Indonesia.
5. Actively engage with PMs to regularly update the internal SNV website and support with other government related communications, where required.
6. Trainings or information sessions on the MoU and RIK progress provided as needed, in accordance with SNV’s annual plan.
7. Critically assess SNV's Legal risk exposure in the Country.
8. Conduct legal analysis and provide written advice on legal matters (regarding legal sources/ jurisprudence, etc.).
9. Attend meetings with donor organisations on contract discussion, if needed.
10. Provide advice on compliance with laws and regulations in Indonesia.
11. Support in reporting to the manpower department.
12. To maintain contract database and organise executed versions of contracts.

The Project Assistant provide support in the implementation of the project by following guided procedures and processes, according to specific rules and donor compliance. The Project Assistant ensures service needs are reviewed and service delivery is guided. The Project Assistant can assist in the Finance and Administration of a project or also on the technical side of the project implementation.

Key Activities

• Support Administrative and Financial work within the project, ensuring Project Management Administrative and Financial requirements are in line with SNV’s financial and administrative guidelines (including supporting in the procurement of goods and services, travel arrangements, advance and payment requests, and time writing for consultants)
• Provide logistical & general support to project delivery and documentation (including preparing meetings agendas, meeting minutes, support to the recruitment of consultants, project document folders, and financial information).
• Assist with activities supporting of teamwork, meetings preparation and coordination with field partner.
• Keep an inventory list of equipment, project assets, the relevant contracts, and leases, organize equipment and stationary procurements for training, coordinate maintenance and replacement when required, in consultation with and with approval of the supervisor and confirm the given authorization and (procurement) procedures.
• File all the project document, letters, contract, PR, approvals, in line with the procurement policy.
