• To conduct feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
• To apply Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate involve Turner & Townsend’s specialist Value Management team
• To manage estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and present the final cost plan
• To manage the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
• To manage the tender process for MEP packages including tender document, tender clarifications, interview and tender recommendation report if required.
• To ensure that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively
• To ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
• To ensure the production of monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client
• Value engineering and life cycle costing
• To ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed; validate the monthly payment claims and prepare payment recommendation for MEP related works/packages.
• To take a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Where appropriate, lead a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities

As a Project Manager besides provides Scheduling Services also having task to controlling project execution to meet budget and agreed project scheduled, you create a master plan for an assigned client project that includes timelines, required resources, the order of needed tasks and the responsibilities of each project team member. You must represent our T&T well by being responsible, punctual, and motivated to exceed the expectations of our clients.  You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
• Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
• Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action.
• Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
• Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
• Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule.
• Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule.
• Facilitate project scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning meetings as required by the project team.
• Participate in project meetings at the discretion of the project manager!
• Upon completion of each project, develop and record the project’s historical schedule information and lessons learned, for future use.

Systems and tools capability

Competency using Primavera P6 or later, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

•  To ensuring that cost auditing and valuation work is managed effectively and that a robust process for cost validation is in place.
• Carrying out the production of monthly cost reports for presentation to the client.
