As the Sr. Director – Head of Clients at Visa, you will be at the forefront of driving Visa’s growth and innovation in the most exciting SEA market, Indonesia. This pivotal role involves leading the end-to-end sales and business development strategy for a diverse range of clients, including issuers, acquirers, sellers, fintech companies, conglomerates, and other partners. You will lead a dynamic, collaborative team who are obsessed with empowering clients of all sizes to succeed with Visa, leveraging our extensive range of products and solutions. This role has a broad focus across Visa’s three strategic focus areas:

1. Core – Consumer Payments: delivering seamless and secure payment solutions that meet the everyday needs of consumers.
2. Commercial & Money Movement Solutions - B2B & Corporate Payments: providing businesses with efficient and reliable payment systems to streamline their operations and enhance their financial management.
3. Value-Added Services:  offering a suite of innovative services such as Advisory, CyberSource, Loyalty Solutions, Data, and Risk solutions to help clients optimize their operations and drive growth.

You will collaborate with Visa teams across Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region, positioning Visa as the unrivaled industry and thought leader. You will collaborate and engage with clients, partners, regulatory bodies, and peers, driving innovation and shaping the future of payments in Indonesia.

Additionally, the Head of Clients will:

• Strategic Execution: Translate Visa’s long-term strategy into specific, actionable objectives and plans for the market, ensuring alignment with key Visa stakeholders.
• Build Strong Partnerships: Proactively manage relationships with the largest and most influential clients in Indonesia. Strengthen partnerships and drive cross-selling of Visa’s comprehensive suite of products and solutions.
• Drive Market Growth: Develop and execute client development strategies and revenue objectives to increase personal consumption expenditure (PCE) penetration, Visa seller volume, market share, and data processing revenues. Foster acquirer, seller, and consumer preference for Visa.
• Identify Opportunities and Mitigate Risks: Focus on the development of medium-term account plans. Structure and model commercial deals that promote growth while identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
• Inspire and Lead: Guide a team of Account Executives to generate significant new business for Visa across the market. Develop innovative initiatives and implement targeted go-to-market strategies to reach both traditional and new segments.
• Cultivate a High-Performance Culture: Coach and direct team members in the day-to-day execution of sales activities. Establish a customer-focused, performance-based sales culture.

• Lead the development and delivery of informative and engaging employee communications activities including employee communications programs and staff volunteering events
• Drive Visa’s Social Impact program in Indonesia
• Support the execution of Visa’s media relations programs across the markets including:
  • Developing the strategy and managing the execution of media engagements
  • Identifying and maximizing opportunities to enhance Visa’s profile in the media 
  • Developing content to promote Visa’s brand, technical and industry leadership, new products and services
  • Establishing and maintaining close relationships with journalists across general, business, lifestyle and technology media 
  • Ensuring spokespeople are well briefed and trained to deliver key messages
  • Ensuring Visa’s senior management are seen as trusted authorities by the local media
  • Creating opportunities for the Country Manager and other key management to obtain high, positive profiling in top tier broadcast, print and digital media 
• Provide executive communication support to the Country Manager across a variety of internal, external, client, and media communications opportunities  
• Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure corporate communications and marketing programs are aligned and a coordinated approach is being taken to leverage Visa’s assets across the markets 
• Partner with Visa’s in-market PR agency to successfully deliver communications programs across the region
• Work with the Government Engagement function to support Visa’s public policy position
