Youtap Limited is on the lookout for a FinOps - Cloud Cost Optimization Specialist to join our innovative team in Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud expenditures, ensuring that we maximize the value from our cloud investments while maintaining high-performance standards for our digital banking solutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to building a financially sustainable cloud strategy for our company.

As a leader in the digital banking and payments space, Youtap helps consumers and merchants transact effortlessly through digital wallets and banking solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to analyze spending patterns and implement cost-saving strategies that align with our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, finance, and business units to monitor, analyze, and report on cloud spending and utilization metrics.
• Develop and implement cloud cost allocation strategies to ensure accountable and efficient use of cloud resources across departments.
• Conduct regular reviews of cloud expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Assist with the negotiation of cloud service agreements to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud financial management and cost optimization.
• Educate and train internal teams on cloud financial management principles and foster a culture of cost-consciousness.
• Implement tools and processes to enhance visibility and management of cloud spending.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud financial management or cost optimization roles, preferably within the tech or financial services industries.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their usage/cost management tools.
• Proven analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights for financial decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with FinOps practices or certifications is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and proactively identify and address cost optimization opportunities.
